CPWS Scheme to Nirmal & Other Habitations (Phase-II) in Adilabad District ” Esst Cost :5200.00 Lakhs”.
It is the first Water grid project in Telangana, and the project main aims to provide safe drinking water to Nirmal and other habitations in every household across the district and Close to Seven lakhs people will be benefiting  through this project.
Water is life! International community has declared clean drinking water as a human right long back. Yet, lack of drinking water is a common sight in our state and country.Even though two perennial rivers flow across the state, the tragedy is, most of Telangana state does not have access to clean drinking water.
To change this situation, the Telangana government, under the able leadership of CM Sri K Chandrashekar Rao, has designed the Telangana Water Grid – a mammoth project intended to provide a sustainable and permanent solution to the drinking water woes.

The water grid project aims at reaching out drinking water supply to even remotest place in the State. The Water Grid scheme is intended to provide safe drinking water to every household across the State in the coming four years.
CM Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao, has designed the Telangana Water Grid – a mammoth project intended to provide a sustainable and permanent solution to the drinking water woes.
The Project Objective is to provide safe drinking water at household level up to kitchen at the defined and approved norms such  that the people,specially woman need not go to the streets for collection of water from public stand posts or from other modes of facilities.
The project is planned to cover domestic water demand of all the rural and urban areas .
The project is planned to consider the water demand towards domestic , institutional,commercial entities, industries,SEZ,etc.
The Project will be integrated with the existing and ongoing water supply project.
The main trunk pipeline of Sangareddy Segment project would run about 1000 KM.
